MICHELLE LaVaughn ROBINSON OBAMA'S BIOGRAPHY

Born on January 17, 1964, Michelle Robinson was raised in a one-bedroom apartment on Chicago's South Shore.


Graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Sociology, and went on to earn a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

After graduating from Harvard Law School,
Michelle joined the law firm of Sidley Austin as an associate specializing in marketing and intellectual property.

Summer of 1988 Michelle was assigned to mentor Barack Obama, who came to work at the law firm,
they fell in love and got married in 1992.

On a very cold morning in Washington D.C., Tuesday January 20th, 2009 Michelle Obama became the First Black, First Lady of the United States of America!
